As a result of the strategic sourcing efforts for leveraging the University's scientific spend, Procurement is pleased to announce a preferred vendor contract award to Fisher Scientific. Fisher has been a partner to Wayne State University for more than two decades. They will not only continue to extend the highest level of customer service possible, but will also strive to provide the University with the best possible pricing while doing so.
Our strategic sourcing efforts demonstrate that partnering with Fisher Scientific to leverage our spend will save the University more than $2,700,000 over the next five years.
