Procurement competitively bid audio-visual equipment, installation and integration in 2018, in order to develop strategic partnerships to provide the utmost in product, service and price to the University Community. As a result, SoundCom and Abel Electronics have been awarded Strategic Partnership Agreements with Wayne State, based upon superior pricing and service.

Benefits
Rather than bidding each AV project separately, departments can work with the strategic source suppliers regarding the specifications and timing for their AV needs. Through the Strategic Agreements, the University will be able to acquire systems more quickly and cost effectively.
