Procurement and Strategic Sourcing (PASS) engaged in an RFP and negotiation effort to get the best possible combination of service, availability and pricing for the University community. Areas on campus that assisted with the effort include: Special Events, Athletics, the Dean of Students Office, and Parking & Transportation, and we thank them for their insight and efforts. We are pleased to announce that the University has entered into a contract agreement with National Trails, for both Charter Bus services and School Bus services.
Ordering Process
The order process is as simple as contacting the University account manager at National Trails to reserve a bus, obtaining a quote and/or confirmation, and processing the requisition with confirmation attached.
- Department will only need to obtain a quote and/or confirmation from the vendor, and issue a WayneBuy Requisition / PO
- No prepay requirements
- Vendors will invoice for all trips against the PO# provided
The Bus Transportation form has been updated within WayneBuy to reflect National Trails as the service provider. Use of a dedicated form is intended to simplify the requisitioning process.
