Temporary Research Personnel

Any request for temporary research personnel services must be submitted to the HR Client Services, which will serve as the central coordinator for the temporary agency process. Client Services will partner with the approved University agencies to identify a temporary employee that will meet your needs. Visit http://hr.wayne.edu/clientservices/recruiting/staffing-agency to see how to go about arranging for temporary research personnel through any of the approved research personnel agencies.

Once a temporary researcher has been identified, prepare a WayneBuy Requisition to cover the cost. A special WayneBuy Form has been created for this purpose, and is found in the Strategic Supplier Forms section.  When preparing your requsition, state the agency to be used, the type of service required, the hourly rate, and the anticipated time frame this service will be required. Procurement will prepare a Contract Purchase Order and issue it to the agency. In the event the time frame must be extended, please complete a WayneBuy Change Order Request (COR) Requisition, which will automatically route to Procurement upon approval at the Departmental level. Simply note the necessary changes to the terms of service.

Below is a list of the approved Research Personnel Agencies who have been selected as a result of the University's Request for Proposal for temporary research personnel services.  Pricing guidelines are included, but may be adapted based on unique needs of any individual department.
